WARNING: This Site is Secure

Update: Purchased and installed a PositiveSSL (domain validation) certificate from Comodo via NameCheap on June 5 in support of Reset the Net. And so now the security certificate warning is returned to the annals of insecurity.

You’ve made the right choice and continued past the security warning.

This is now a secure site. Alerting to read such a message, but indeed secure. Enabled HTTPS using a self-signed certificate instead of purchasing a “verified” certificate from a Certificate Authority like GeoTrust or Thawte or Comodo because a self-signed certificate is free.

Chrome self-signed certificate warning: The site's security certificate is not trusted.
Chrome self-signed certificate warning: The site’s security certificate is not trusted.

Also enabled a redirect forcing all insecure requests – HTTP – to automatically go through secure requests – HTTPS.
